Highlights of the 95th Anniversary Art Program – Light to Guide the Way

(CLO) On the evening of February 3, 2025, at August Revolution Square, Hanoi , a special art program took place to celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, and celebrate the country's renewal with the theme "95 years - Light to guide the way".

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) affirmed: Exactly 95 years ago, on February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam was founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh. Under the correct and wise leadership of the Party, of the great President Ho Chi Minh, with the ardent patriotism, the strength of solidarity of the entire nation, the resilience and bravery in fighting, creativity in working, the wholehearted support and help of international friends, our people have continued to write the heroic history of the nation, bringing the country to further development.

In the article “Bright Vietnam” on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party’s founding, General Secretary To Lam affirmed: “Through the process of leading the revolution, our Party has been tempered and increasingly matured, strengthened, worthy of its role and mission of leading the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people”, “In Vietnam, there is no other political force other than the Communist Party of Vietnam that has enough capacity, courage, intelligence, experience and prestige to lead the country to overcome all difficulties and challenges, bringing the revolutionary cause of our nation from one victory to another”.

The art program celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam is an opportunity for us to review the heroic history of the glorious Party, the glorious history of the nation; to remember the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - the genius leader of our Party and nation; to commemorate the Party's predecessors; the sacrifices of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.

The program is a symphony of faith, pride and aspiration to rise up, because a strong and rich country is not only based on economic potential but also on cultural depth, rich identity, which nothing can dissolve.

The special art program to celebrate the Party, celebrate Spring, celebrate the country's renewal with the theme "95 years - Light to guide the way" is chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee, directing the Department of Performing Arts, Vietnam National Academy of Music, Vietnam National Song and Dance Theater, Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater and related units to organize.

The program “95 years - Guiding light” is built according to the country's historical journey with 3 chapters on the themes “Guiding light”; “Innovative light”; “Era of light”.

Through language and artistic techniques, the epic songs about love for the homeland, love for the Party, the program continues to write about the spring of aspiration - the aspiration to rise up for the prosperity and longevity of the nation, for the prosperity and happiness of the country.

During the program, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy many elaborately staged art performances: Medley "Melody of the Fatherland" and "Praise the Fatherland", "The Party is my life", "The Party Flag" performed by People's Artist Quoc Hung, the Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Symphony Orchestra...

The works: “Vietnamese Hearts”, “Proud Melody”, Mashup “The Road We Travel” and “Red Blood, Yellow Skin” recreate the country’s achievements after 40 years of renovation, performed by People’s Artist Trong Tan, Duong Hoang Yen, male and female choirs of the Vietnam National Academy of Music…
