National Assembly deputies meet voters in Cua Lo town

Implementing the program of meeting voters before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of October 8, the National Assembly delegation led by Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province had a meeting with voters of Cua Lo town.

A large number of voters frankly expressed their thoughts, wishes and proposed a number of recommendations related to socio-economic, defense and security issues. 15 opinions revolved around the following contents: Correct policies for people with meritorious services; Need to pay attention to policies for preschool teachers; Textbooks with many publishers make parents confused; Inadequacies in using social insurance; The wharf on the east side of Cua Lo port was destroyed by storms for more than 3 years without warning measures, not ensuring safety for fishermen when anchoring boats; Requesting attention to buying insurance for fishermen mobilized when performing tasks to participate in protecting political security at sea; The desire to continue to contribute to work of ward contract officers when there is a risk of losing their jobs.

Many opinions related to the Land Law, expanding administrative boundaries, handling surplus public assets after Cua Lo town merged into Vinh city... were also discussed at the meeting.

The National Assembly delegation fully accepted issues that were not within its authority to report to the National Assembly, the Government and the Central Ministries and branches.
