National Economics University increases enrollment quota

According to the 2025 regular university enrollment information that the National Economics University just issued on the afternoon of March 28, the regular university enrollment target of this university will increase by about 6% compared to last year.

Specifically, the National Economics University will enroll 8,500 university students, including 8,200 regular university students (last year was 7,950 students), and 300 regular university transfer students. The school will enroll 73 majors (an increase of 7 compared to 2024), the new majors include: 2 majors trained in Vietnamese (international trade law, labor relations), 2 advanced training program codes (including 5 programs), 3 high-quality training program codes (16 programs).

The school still maintains the same number of admission methods as last year, including: direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, admission based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores and combined admission based on the admission information of the National Economics University. In which, combined admission is to consider the following candidates: with SAT, ACT certificates; with HSA/APT ability assessment test, TSA thinking assessment; with IELTS/TOEFL iBT/TOIEIC international English certificate 4 skills (combined with 2025 high school graduation exam scores combined with HSA, APT, TSA tests).

This year is the first year that the Ministry of Education and Training requires schools that use multiple admission methods for the same major to convert equivalent scores when determining the benchmark. However, the National Economics University announced that the school will wait for the Ministry of Education and Training's guidance before deciding on the rules for converting equivalent scores for the entrance threshold and benchmark.

Regarding the conversion of admission scores between admission methods and admission combinations, the National Economics University will also follow the general instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training and will announce it at the latest at the time of announcing the input quality assurance threshold according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training (expected after the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam are available).
