The 1st National Assembly Party Congress took place from September 24-25.

Pursuant to Directive No. 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Plan No. 34-KH/DUQH dated June 20, 2025 of the National Assembly Party Committee on organizing the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025-2030; with the consent of the Politburo, in 2 days (September 24-25, 2025), the 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025-2030 will take place at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, Hanoi Capital.

Attending and directing the Congress was Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam . Chairing and directing the Congress was Comrade Tran Thanh Man, Politburo member, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly.

The 1st National Assembly Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was attended by 300 official delegates, who are typical party members representing 2,804 party members currently active in 11 party committees under the National Assembly Party Committee, including: 41 ex-officio delegates and 259 delegates appointed by the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee.

Taking place over 2 days, with the motto "Solidarity-Democracy-Discipline-Breakthrough", the Congress will review and decide on the following contents: Summarizing the activities of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term of the National Assembly Party Committee (on the basis of summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Congress of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Office, the former State Audit Party Committee, now the National Assembly Office Party Committee; summary report of the former National Assembly Party Delegation and the current National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term). At the same time, discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

According to the program, on the morning of September 24, the National Assembly Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term will lay wreaths and offer incense at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs (Bac Son Street area); The delegation of the 1st National Assembly Party Congress will lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. After that, the Congress will hold a preparatory meeting at Dien Hong Hall and in the afternoon of the same day, the Congress will hold a Group discussion session.

On the morning of September 25, the Congress held an official session at the National Assembly House to review, discuss and decide on the contents according to the proposed agenda./.
