The "Exemplary Veterans" emulation congress of Lao Cai province will take place in October.

The Congress aims to summarize and evaluate the results and effects of the emulation movement in the 2019 - 2024 period; propose directions and tasks for emulation and reward work in the coming time.

Pursuant to Decision No. 206/QD-CCB dated June 29, 2023 of the President of the Vietnam Veterans Association and Notice No. 2981-TB/TU dated September 26, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association and the 5th "Exemplary Veterans" Emulation Congress, period 2019 - 2024, the Standing Committee of the Lao Cai Provincial Veterans Association has developed a plan and implemented preparations for the organization of the congress to ensure progress and requirements.

Associations at all levels in the province have launched the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" with many meaningful and practical contents and activities.

Accordingly, the congress is scheduled to take place on October 10-11, 2024 at the Lao Cai City Convention Center with 250 delegates.

This is an event of important political significance to summarize and correctly evaluate the results and effects of the emulation movement launched and implemented in the period of 2019 - 2024; propose directions and tasks for emulation and reward work in the coming time; recognize and commend outstanding individuals and collectives, typical and advanced examples of the movement.

Through the organization of the congress, it contributes to encouraging and motivating cadres and members to promote the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress, the Resolution of the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 7th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Veterans Association .

The Veterans Association of Bao Thang district and Lao Cai city held a conference to summarize the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans", period 2019 - 2024.

Up to now, 7/10 veteran organizations at district level and equivalent, including: Muong Khuong, Bat Xat, Bao Thang, Van Ban, Si Ma Cai, Bao Yen, Lao Cai city have completed the conference to summarize the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans", period 2019 - 2024; The remaining 3 units will complete the conference in July, which is an important premise to organize the upcoming 5th "Exemplary Veterans" emulation congress of Lao Cai province.
