On December 3, in Thai Nguyen province, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense , met with voters, officers and soldiers of Division 346 (Military Region 1) after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Voters made proposals and recommendations on a number of related issues, especially in military and defense work, military policy work and the military rear. Speaking at the conference, General Phan Van Giang highly appreciated the glorious history and tradition of Division 346, and expressed his excitement at the achievements that the unit had made. He emphasized that at the recent session, the laws drafted by the Ministry of National Defense were all passed by the National Assembly , with an almost absolute approval rate of delegates. This result was achieved because the agencies and functional units of the Ministry of National Defense had made careful, serious, and quality preparations; the drafting process was always receptive, accepting, and accepting the broad opinions of experts and functional agencies inside and outside the Army, including the entire army's cadres and officers.
The General requested Division 346 to strictly maintain combat readiness, improve training capacity and organizational flexibility, ensuring the successful completion of all tasks in the current complex context.
Regarding voters' suggestions and recommendations at the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Thai Nguyen province, General Phan Van Giang directly responded and clarified the contents within his authority.
On this occasion, General Phan Van Giang and delegates presented gifts to groups and 30 soldiers who are children of wounded and sick soldiers, and families in difficult circumstances of Division 346, Phu Luong District Military Command (Thai Nguyen Provincial Military Command).
