Launching 3 urban area projects with more than 38 trillion VND

QTO - On the morning of October 2, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with Sun Group to organize the launching ceremony of 3 projects with a total investment of more than 38 trillion VND. This is an event to welcome the 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030. Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former leaders of the province through the periods; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of departments, branches and localities. Accordingly, 3 projects were launched: Nhat Le coastal mixed-use urban area; Dong Hoi central mixed-use urban area and Le Ky river west mixed-use urban area with a total investment of more than 38 trillion VND. Nhat Le coastal mixed-use urban area project has a scale of more than 276 hectares, an investment of more than 12,500 billion VND, located in Nam Trach commune and Dong Thuan ward.

Dong Hoi Central Mixed Urban Area has a scale of more than 212 hectares, with an investment of more than 11,900 billion VND, located in 2 wards: Dong Thuan and Dong Hoi. The project will be built to become a model of sustainable ecological urban areas of the locality with more than 60 hectares reserved for green areas such as parks, flower gardens, and water landscapes.

Finally, the mixed-use urban area west of Le Ky river is being developed on a scale of more than 291 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 13,900 billion VND in Dong Hoi ward and Quang Ninh commune. The project will be planned with a civilized and modern living space, high-class commercial services, a theme park, a cultural and entertainment complex associated with the vibrant water surface day and night. The 3 projects are expected to mark a milestone for the new development cycle of the "dual heritage" land. At the same time, they are also the first projects to mark the presence of Sun Group Corporation on the journey to beautify Quang Tri land.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong emphasized that the draft document of the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term identifies one of the province's strategic goals for the 2025-2030 period as focusing on developing the economy and society in a green, sustainable, comprehensive, and integrated direction with the four pillars of "Energy - Logistics - Tourism - Green Agriculture", striving to make Quang Tri a fairly developed province by 2045, an energy, logistics, and unique tourism center of the country. In particular, developing tourism to truly become a spearhead economic sector is identified as one of the key tasks.

To achieve those goals and aspirations, the province is in dire need of new, worthy development drivers. The province has determined that it is necessary to promote investment attraction, create a favorable investment environment to not only develop the startup ecosystem, create conditions for businesses in the area to grow, but also attract many "eagles" to "nest" with large-scale projects, bringing strong impetus to the local economy. The fact that the People's Committee of Quang Tri province coordinated with Sun Group to organize the launching ceremony of 3 projects is a vivid proof of the determination to attract investment, create large-scale projects to gradually raise the level of tourism and urban areas, making Quang Tri not only a land of talented people, rich in cultural traditions, diverse nature and many identities, but also a place worth visiting, worth living, civilized and modern.
