Attending the congress were Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang, along with leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, central committees, ministries and branches, representatives of leaders of Military Region 4 and localities.

In the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence opening up new opportunities, Nghe An province clearly defines its goals, emphasizing that by 2030, Nghe An will become a fairly developed province in the country, a national growth pole, and the North Central region center for industry, high-tech agriculture, education, healthcare, science - technology, logistics, and tourism.
By 2045, this locality will become a high-income, comprehensively developed, civilized and modern province.

The Congress set out 5 key tasks and 3 development breakthroughs and 2 main tasks and solutions to achieve the goals set for the term.
The political report affirms that Nghe An has enough potential, advantages and aspirations to rise strongly and become an important growth pole of the country.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, informed that the goal of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term is: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; comprehensive innovation, breakthrough development, striving to turn Nghe An into a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new era of development".
"This is not only the goal of the new term, but also an honorable promise and political commitment of the Congress to the Party, the State and the people of all ethnic groups in the province," the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee emphasized.
According to Mr. Trung, the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee is an opportunity for the entire Party Committee to deeply realize its responsibility to the people of all ethnic groups in the province and the whole country regarding the position and role of the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, affirming strong political determination, promoting the strength of great solidarity, and urging the desire for development.
This special event encourages and motivates the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province to continue promoting the tradition of the heroic Soviet homeland, to innovate more comprehensively, make stronger breakthroughs, and make more persistent efforts for a rich, beautiful, civilized, modern Nghe An with a worthy position in the region and the whole country.
