In the period of 2022-2024, the total estimated budget for implementing 3 national target programs in the district is more than 768.7 billion VND. Up to now, the whole district has disbursed more than 314.3 billion VND, reaching 40.9%.

Of which, the disbursement of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction reached 52.2%; the disbursement of the National Target Program on New Rural Development reached 84.5%; the disbursement of the National Target Program on Economic and Social Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas reached 26.5%.

The reason for slow disbursement and low rate is due to problems related to planning, compensation, site clearance... Along with that, a number of projects and sub-projects of 3 National Target Programs are waiting for guidance documents from central ministries and branches.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. Thereby, proposing specific solutions to help speed up the disbursement progress.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee Tran Nam Thuan emphasized that slow disbursement of capital and low rates will affect many economic and social development indicators of the locality.

Mr. Thuan requested that leaders of departments, units, and People's Committees of communes must be resolute and focused on implementation in the spirit of resolving difficulties and putting people's interests first.

Units must synchronously implement solutions to accelerate project implementation and disbursement of capital from the 3 National Target Programs. At the same time, strengthen inspection and supervision of implementation, aiming for practical, in-depth, effective and sustainable development goals.
