Accordingly, the Department of Health directed the establishment of 13 medical teams, including 8 medical teams serving at the places where delegates stay and offer incense, each team is arranged with doctors, nurses, drivers and fully prepared with medicine and oxygen; 2 epidemic prevention teams, 1 food safety and hygiene team; 2 emergency teams, each team has 2 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 driver (1 team on duty at the hospital and 1 team on duty 24/24 hours at the Congress venue, ready to provide emergency care, medical examination and treatment for delegates, ready to perform tasks when requested or when a situation occurs where someone is transferred to the hospital for monitoring and health check-up). The request is that during the Congress, the teams are on duty 24/24 hours. In case of emergency, report to the hospital leadership to promptly report to the Department of Health for direction.

Assign the Provincial General Hospital to ensure 24/24h on-call duty at the unit at all levels: leadership duty; clinical duty; paraclinical duty; logistics and administration duty; outpatient resident duty. Fully stock up on medicines, infusions, blood, equipment, supplies, and medical oxygen to provide timely emergency care in all necessary cases. The quantity of medicines, infusions, blood and blood products and supplies... are ready to meet the needs of patient treatment and emergency care.

Regarding facilities, the Provincial General Hospital has arranged beds ready to serve when required. Medicines, infusions, blood and blood products and supplies are prepared to meet the needs of treatment and emergency care for patients as well as respond to situations of mass food poisoning.

Deputy Director of the Department of Health, La Dang Tai said: The Department directs relevant units to ensure conditions of facilities, equipment, supplies, essential medicines, and human resources to perform well the examination, emergency, and health care for delegates attending the Congress; be ready to respond to emergency situations and medical incidents that occur during the Congress. Assign tasks clearly, prepare adequate facilities and equipment to serve safely and thoughtfully.

At the same time, direct the Provincial General Hospital to organize professional training for members of the Medical Team serving the Congress before the Congress takes place to equip them with necessary knowledge and skills, contributing to improving the sense of responsibility and readiness in performing the tasks of care, first aid, and handling emergency situations. With careful, scientific preparation and a high sense of responsibility, the Provincial Health sector is ready to serve the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
