On January 4, Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital said it was still actively treating a male patient with burns all over his body due to making firecrackers.
The victim is being treated at Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital.
Previously, Dak Nong Provincial General Hospital received a male patient, NNH (15 years old, residing in Dak R'lap District, Dak Nong), who suffered burns all over his back, arms and legs. After many days of active treatment by the hospital's medical team, the patient's health has stabilized and he is now eligible to be discharged for home treatment.
H. said that after watching videos of how to make firecrackers online, he became curious and wanted to make his own firecrackers for use. Then, he went online to order materials and made his own firecrackers at home.
The patient's health is now stable and he can be discharged from the hospital.
While H. was making fireworks at home, an explosion unfortunately occurred. The incident left H. with burns to almost his entire body. "The two explosions in a row caused severe burns. At that time, I tried to run out of the house and asked my relatives to take me to the hospital," H. recounted.
Recently, Dak Nong Provincial Police have discovered many cases of illegal storage and sale of firecrackers in the area. Among them, there are many cases of violators who are teenagers.
