Republicans on track for an overwhelming victory in the 2024 US election

Presidential Race

As we all know, Donald Trump has won a stunning victory in the race to the White House against Democratic Party's Kamala Harris by a large margin. According to official data, Trump has won 301 electoral votes, compared to Harris's 226. Only Arizona has not completed the vote count yet, but Trump is also leading by a large margin in one of these seven battleground states.

Governor's Race

Meanwhile, in the Governor race, the Republican Party also won 8 more Governor positions in this election, compared to only 3 for the Democratic Party. This helps the Democratic Party to have 27 current and upcoming Governors across the US (including 19 people selected from the 2022 midterm elections). Meanwhile, the Democratic Party only has 23 Governor positions (including 20 people from before).

Senate race

In the Senate race that has ended, the Republican Party continued to win resoundingly, winning 16 more seats, thereby winning a total of 53 seats (including 38 old seats) to regain control of the Senate from the Democratic Party - the party that won 17 seats in the 2024 election, but still lost in the end with only 47 seats (including 28 old seats).

House of Representatives Race

Republicans are closing in on the 218-seat victory mark to take control of the US House of Representatives.

In the House of Representatives race, which is still undecided, the Republican Party is only 6 seats away from winning control of the most important legislative body in the United States. Specifically, they currently have 212 seats, and are leading at least 12 voting districts to choose Representatives in some late-counting states (pink squares on the map), thereby being assessed as almost certain to win.
