Dang Thi Thuy Duong won the Golden Bell of Traditional Music 2025

On the evening of September 28, at the Ho Chi Minh City Television Theater, the final ranking round of the 20th Golden Bell of Traditional Music Contest in 2025 ended with the victory belonging to contestant Dang Thi Thuy Duong (born in 1993, Ho Chi Minh City).

In the competition, Thuy Duong played the role of Queen Thuong Duong (excerpt from Queen Thuong Duong by author Quoc Khanh), with the assistance of Meritorious Artist Ngoc Doi and artist Thanh Hong. With a strong voice, sweet singing, deep and emotional acting, she received 99.58 points, becoming the best contestant, winning the Golden Bell worth 150 million VND and the Golden Cup.

The Silver Bell Award went to contestant Le Thi Ha Nhu (2006, Vinh Long ) for the role of Ngoc Huyen in the excerpt The Night Before the Royal Day ; the Bronze Bell Award went to contestant Vuong Quan Tri (2009, An Giang ) for the role of Tran Binh Trong in the excerpt The Spirit of Tran Binh Trong.

The Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Fourth Prizes to Nguyen Phu Yen (Ca Mau), Nguyen Thi My Duyen (Dong Thap); 4 Encouragement Prizes; the Press Council Prize to Nguyen Tan Dat (Tay Ninh); and the Most Favorite Contestant Prize to Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhu, Nguyen Thi My Duyen and Le Thi Ha Nhu.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the competition, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City awarded certificates of merit to 8 groups and 29 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing the competition; Ho Chi Minh City Television also commended artists who have been associated with the competition for many years, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of Cai Luong art in contemporary life.
