In 2025, Hanoi University of Pharmacy will enroll students according to the following methods:

Method 1: Direct admission according to the direct admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the School

Object

a) Labor heroes, People's Armed Forces heroes, and National Emulation Fighters are considered for direct admission to the School's majors and programs.

b) Candidates who won first, second, or third prizes in the National and International Excellent Student Competition or the National and International Science and Technology Competition (ISEF) organized and sent by the Ministry of Education and Training; the time of winning the prize is not more than 3 years from the time of direct admission; are considered for direct admission in the year of high school graduation into majors suitable for the exam subjects and topic content. For the Pharmacy major, direct admission is only considered for candidates who won first prizes in the National Science and Technology Competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, who are sent by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate and win prizes in the International Science and Technology Competition. The exam subjects and fields of science and technology of the competition topic are considered for admission to specific majors as follows:

Each scientific and technological topic is only considered for direct admission once for one main author. In the direct admission application, candidates must submit a confirmation from co-authors, which includes the following contents: (i) Clearly stating that the candidate is the main author; (ii) Co-authors agree to let the candidate submit the application for direct admission to the School; (iii) The supervisor of the competition topic confirms that the candidate is the main author; (iv) Signature and stamp of the leader of the agency or unit where the supervisor works. Candidates must submit the content of the scientific and technological topic they participated in the competition with the direct admission application for the School's Admissions Council to consider and consider.

c) The Principal shall consider and decide to admit the following cases based on the candidates' high school study results and the requirements of the training sector:
- Candidates are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government; candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region; candidates with permanent residence of 3 years or more, studied for 3 years and graduated from high school in poor districts (boarding students of ethnic minorities are calculated based on permanent residence) according to regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister. These candidates must take 01 (one) year of supplementary knowledge before officially entering school. The supplementary knowledge program is prescribed by the Principal.
- Candidates are foreigners whose Vietnamese knowledge and proficiency test results meet current regulations of the Minister of Education and Training.

Admission requirements

- Candidates have graduated from high school;
- For candidates who win prizes in the Science and Technology Competition: the Admissions Council will approve the content of the topic to be in line with the field of the prize, suitable for the major registered for direct admission.
- For candidates who are ethnic minorities with very few people according to current regulations of the Government; candidates from 20 poor border and island districts in the Southwest region; candidates with permanent residence of 3 years or more, studying for 3 years and graduating from high school in poor districts (boarding students of ethnic minorities are calculated based on permanent residence) according to regulations of the Government and the Prime Minister: required to achieve the title of excellent student in all 3 years of high school.

Method 2:

a) Method 2A: Admission based on combining high school academic results with SAT certificates

Admission requirements

(i) Candidates must have a valid SAT international English certificate at the time of application and achieve at least one of the following scores:

(ii) Academic results are assessed as good for all 3 years, high school academic results for each year of grades 10, 11, 12 of each subject in the admission combination are not less than 8.0; high school academic year 2022-2025.

This method does not apply to candidates who are students of continuing education institutions.

1) Admission score

DXT2A = Total points achieved + Converted priority points

b) Method 2B: Consider high school academic results for excellent students in specialized classes of national or provincial/municipal gifted high schools.

(i) Candidates in all 3 years of grades 10, 11, 12 are all students of specialized classes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology of National Gifted/Specialized High Schools or Provincial/City High Schools directly under the Central Government, studying high school in the 2022-2025 school year; The majors registered for admission correspond to the following specialized subjects:

(i) High school learning results for each year of grades 10, 11, 12 in each subject of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry must not be less than 7.0,
(ii) The total score of the 2025 thinking test meets the 2025 quality assurance threshold of Hanoi University of Pharmacy.
