Comparing with the benchmark scores in 2024 (through both the form of considering transcripts and considering high school graduation exam scores), Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Tien - Director of the Vietnam Women's Academy noticed some outstanding trends:
Multimedia Communications, Psychology, Tourism and Travel Services Management, and Business Administration continue to maintain their high positions, with this year's benchmark scores still fluctuating in the upper group of the score spectrum, affirming their stable appeal over many years. Compared to 2024, the benchmark scores have increased slightly but have not caused too much fluctuation.
The Law, Economic Law, Economics, Digital Economics, and Social Work majors remain in the fairly good group with stable scores, reflecting the sustainability of the recruitment source.
The Gender and Development major has attracted special attention. If the benchmark score in 2024 was 15.5, by 2025 this major has skyrocketed to a fairly good level, showing the growing interest of candidates in the field of gender equality and social development. This is a clear “jump”, reflecting the change in the choice of majors of the younger generation.
Marketing: first time enrolling students this year - recorded quite impressive benchmark scores, approaching the highly attractive majors such as Business Administration. This shows that the actual demand of the labor market and the career orientation of candidates are strongly oriented towards the economic - media - service sectors.
Information Technology industries maintain stable scores and increase slightly compared to 2024.
"This year's benchmark scores also reflect the trend of candidates choosing majors more carefully: paying attention to "hotness" and career prospects, while also looking for majors associated with social values and sustainable development" - Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Quang Tien commented.
