(NLDO)- The benchmark scores of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy range from 17 to 27.34. Medicine is still the major with the highest benchmark score.

On the afternoon of August 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced the admission scores for the 2025 academic year. Of which, the medical major still holds the highest position with 27.34 points (down 0.34 points compared to last year), the dental - maxillofacial major ranked second with 26.45 points (down 0.9 points).

Compared to last year, this year's benchmark scores tend to decrease sharply. The benchmark scores for some majors such as midwifery, nutrition, preventive medicine, traditional medicine, and nursing decreased by more than 3 points.

In 2024, the midwifery industry's benchmark score will be 22.8 points, and by 2025 it will decrease to 18 points; the nursing industry will decrease from 24.03 points to 20.15 points.

The nutrition industry's benchmark score dropped the most, from 24.1 last year to 19.25 points, a decrease of 4.85 points.

After receiving the admission results, candidates need to confirm their admission online on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training, no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
