This afternoon (August 22), University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the admission scores for the first round of 2025.

The school announces separate admission scores for each method including: direct admission, priority direct admission; admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam; admission based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results.

Specific benchmarks are as follows:

Notably, this year the school has a total of 8,849 candidates applying for admission to the school with valid IELTS certificates, an increase of 3.7 times compared to last year. According to statistics, 182 candidates have IELTS 8.0 or higher, 6,853 students have 6.0 or higher (an increase of 5,019 students compared to 2024). The score that many candidates achieved is 5.5 - 7.0. About 50 other students use TOEIC, TOEFL or Cambridge certificates.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after knowing the admission scores, successful candidates need to confirm their admission online on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 30.
