TPO - Many poor and disadvantaged households in Dak Lak province have escaped poverty and become rich right in their hometown thanks to preferential loans. In addition, dozens of young people have developed their economy thanks to loans from the Startup Fund of grassroots youth organizations.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's family (Ia Lop commune, Ea Sup district) was formerly a poor household. Thanks to policy credit loans, he invested in a cow breeding model. Up to now, the herd has grown to 28 cows. Mr. Tuan's family has built a spacious house and has a stable economy .

In addition, Mr. Tuan also guided some other households to develop a cattle breeding model from preferential loans from the district's Social Policy Bank to help them escape poverty.

Many households in Ea Sup border district have effective economic development models.

With favorable conditions for loans, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich (Cu Mlan commune, Ea Sup district) invested in growing 2 hectares of ruby ​​guava organically to develop the economy. From this ruby ​​guava growing model, in addition to selling fruit, Ms. Bich also produces Briêt tea products from guava leaves, earning an annual income of 400-500 million VND.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich said that thanks to policy credit capital, she overcame difficulties, invested in a green garden and achieved the results she has today.

From policy credit capital, many people in the border district of Ea Sup have developed many models that bring high economic efficiency, gradually stabilizing their lives and rising out of poverty sustainably.

Mango garden model of Mr. Dang Van Thuong's family (Cu Mlan commune) after borrowing 60 million VND to invest in a drip irrigation system and fertilizer to care for the mango garden. Each year, his family earns hundreds of millions of VND.

The golden rice longan garden of Ms. Pham Thi Chi's family is one of the effective agricultural development models from this credit loan source.

Accompanying youth in economic development

In order to promote the start-up movement, establish a business, help young people develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, the Vietnam Youth Union of Dak Lak province has built a Start-up Fund. In which, each young household can borrow 20 million VND/project for a period of 12-24 months without interest. To date, the capital has supported 53 young people with start-up projects.

Many households in Cu M'gar district develop their economy thanks to preferential loans.

In addition to providing loan support, the Vietnam Youth Union of the province established and maintained the activities of 41 "Youth Start-up" clubs; coordinated with the Social Policy Bank to create conditions for young people to borrow capital to invest in production and business development; organized young people to visit and learn from typical economic models.

In the 2019-2024 term alone, the provincial chapters have provided consultation, job skills guidance and training on science and technology transfer to over 112,000 youth members; organized 265 activities to support start-ups and entrepreneurship; and supported 106 youth start-up projects with a total capital of over VND 2.2 billion.

Many young people in Cu M'gar district were given capital to start businesses and develop the economy.

Mr. Y Grin Knul's family (Cu M'gar commune, Cu M'gar district) has 1.6 hectares of coffee intercropped with durian. Previously, due to lack of investment capital, productivity was low. Through the village's Youth Union, he received loan support. He invested in installing a drip irrigation system and fertilizing the garden. In 2024, his family's durian and coffee garden generated an income of about 500 million.

Mr. Y Grin Knul said that thanks to preferential loans, many families in the village and commune have invested in economic development. Thanks to that, people's lives have stabilized.
