In case of errors, candidates can edit the information on the online registration system (except for the candidate's full name and ID card number, which cannot be edited). "Each candidate is given an original copy of the competency assessment test result notice. This paper is used to complete the admission procedures when officially admitted. Candidates need to keep this paper carefully during the admission process," Dr. Chinh noted.

In addition, Dr. Chinh said that candidates need to follow the registration steps according to the regulations of each school and the general regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates will register for admission based on the results of the capacity assessment test on the general online registration portal of Ho Chi Minh City National University until June 15.

Regarding the admission process, Dr. Chinh added: "It is expected that by the end of June, the units under Ho Chi Minh City National University will conduct a general review and each unit will announce the conditionally admitted candidates (except for the high school graduation requirement). However, after being recognized as graduates, candidates need to continue to register their wishes on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training in July to be officially recognized as admitted."

"After receiving the exam scores, it is also very important to consider your wishes when registering for member units of Ho Chi Minh City National University. Candidates can register an unlimited number of wishes for units and majors, but wishes are considered in order of priority. If you are admitted to your wish on the system, the next wish will not be considered. Therefore, candidates need to consider putting their favorite wish first and gradually decreasing in order of wishes," Dr. Chinh advised.

At the exam site of the University of Natural Sciences in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday morning, many candidates commented that the second round of questions was somewhat "easier" than the first round, but there were also some "tricky" questions that required memorization. For example, Nguyen Huynh Van Phuong, a student at the Gifted High School, said one of the questions that made her "freeze" was: "How many islands are there in Vietnam?", with answers ranging from 1,000 to 5,000. The female student said she had to "guess" because this content was not in the review materials. Meanwhile, NHHC, a student at Tran Khai Nguyen High School, said that she "freeze" with the question of finding synonyms for the word "bè", which means to pluck or uproot... in the Vietnamese section.

Truong Minh Tri, a student at the Practice High School, had difficulty with the question about the date of publication of a collection of poems written by the famous Nguyen Trai. Bui Long Duc, a student at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, assessed that the subjects of math, physics, and chemistry were easier than the first round. On the contrary, the Vietnamese subject was "a bit difficult" because of the part about filling in the blanks and finding synonyms.

Master Bui Van Cong, an online competency assessment test preparation teacher in Ho Chi Minh City, agrees with the above opinions. "The test really has many questions that require students to memorize mechanically, making it impossible to reason and solve even though Ho Chi Minh City National University wants to evaluate students' problem-solving ability," Mr. Cong commented.

"Like in the geography section, the first round had the question "Which is the largest island in Japan?" and the second round continued with the question "How many islands are there in Vietnam?" With these questions, many candidates can only "guess" and rely entirely on luck," said Mr. Cong.

According to Master Cong, the second round of exams was "somewhat easier" than the first round when it reused some information and only changed the questions. Logical thinking and data analysis - two "specialties" of the competency assessment exam, were no longer difficult enough to "detain scores" of candidates like the first round. Biology and physics were relatively easier compared to before. Not to mention, because they had already taken the exam once, many candidates were also better prepared in terms of knowledge, strategy and test-taking spirit.

"I quickly surveyed the students and found that they were all confident with their second round of tests. The average score for the second round will likely be higher than the first round," Mr. Cong predicted.
