Registration deadline, candidates wait for 'sweet fruit'

TPO - According to the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5:00 p.m. this afternoon (July 28), nationwide, more than 849,500 candidates have registered for admission to the admission system.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates use the account provided on the Admissions Support System to register, adjust, and add university admission wishes, an unlimited number of times from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

The Ministry has recommended that all operations must be completed before 5 p.m. today. After that time, the system will be completely locked, and candidates will not be allowed to adjust any information to proceed with virtual filtering and official selection. In fact, until close to the time the system is locked, there are still candidates registering.

According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, as of 5 p.m. this afternoon, nationwide there were 849,544 candidates registered for admission with more than 7.6 million wishes. With more than 1.16 million candidates taking the High School Graduation Exam this year, each candidate registered an average of 8.96 wishes.

The number of candidates registering for admission in 2025 increased by 115,892 candidates (due to candidates registering for admission to vocational colleges). The ratio of candidates registering for admission/number of candidates registering for graduation exams reached more than 73.2%.

In particular, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, up to this point, the system has been operating stably. There are still some candidates who have submitted their registration information close to the end of the admission period, so the system is continuing to process them.

Also according to the Ministry of Education and Training, the number of candidates registering for admission in 2025 increased by 115,892 candidates (due to candidates registering for admission to vocational colleges).

From tomorrow, July 29, candidates pay the admission fee online until 5:00 p.m. on August 5. The Ministry of Education and Training will divide the fee payment date by locality to avoid overloading the system.

After that, the Ministry of Education and Training and universities will process admission requests from August 16 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20.
