Press delegates from 8 countries of the Confederation of ASEAN Journalists (CAJ) visited the exhibition area introducing international press products and artifacts about the friendship between Vietnamese press and press of other countries.

Journalist Tran Thi Kim Hoa, in charge of the Vietnam Press Museum and staff of the Vietnam Press Museum introduced the history of Vietnamese journalism, the history of Vietnam through the work of Vietnamese journalists. The Museum's exhibition content includes 5 parts spanning from 1865 to the present.

Currently, the Vietnam Press Museum has received more than 35,000 artifacts and documents recreating a historical period, the early days of previous generations of journalists. Among them, over 700 unique and rare artifacts and documents reflecting important events in the history of Vietnamese journalism are on display to the public. These are extremely precious artifacts and documents, not only for the donors but also the common heritage of Vietnamese journalism, which need to be protected, promoted and preserved.

Journalist Tran Thi Kim Hoa shared that the Vietnam Press Museum was only established for about 5 years, with a modest area, but visitors can see that this place truly reflects the life and history of Vietnam, regional countries and even the history of many countries in the world .

Every year, the Vietnam Press Museum organizes many seminars and thematic exhibitions to connect journalists, helping Vietnamese journalists better understand the history of Vietnam's revolutionary press and the role models of previous generations of journalists.

On this occasion, journalist Tran Thi Kim Hoa hopes to receive comments from the delegates in the delegation for the museum's activities, so that the museum can continue to serve the public better. In addition, the Vietnam Press Museum is ready to receive artifacts from journalists from countries belonging to the ASEAN Journalists Confederation and press agencies in countries in the region.

Sharing after the museum visit, Mr. Savankhone Razmountry, President of the Lao Journalists Association, said that the Vietnam Press Museum with many valuable documents is not only a treasure trove of interesting knowledge for Vietnamese journalists but also for international friends. The Vietnam Press Museum will be a place for Journalists Associations of other countries to learn from each other's experiences so that they can open museums about journalism in their own countries.
