Lam Dong Provincial National Assembly Delegation surveyed the implementation of two-level government in Hiep Thanh commune.

On October 15, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province, led by Mr. Duong Khac Mai, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Law and Justice, had a survey and working session with the People's Committee of Hiep Thanh commune.

The working session aimed to grasp the implementation of the two-level local government model and the implementation of socio -economic development tasks in the locality.

Hiep Thanh commune was established on the basis of merging three communes: Hiep Thanh, Hiep An and Lien Hiep according to Resolution No. 1671/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hiep, Chairman of Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee reported at the conference.

Reporting to the working delegation, comrade Nguyen Quang Hiep - Chairman of Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee, said: from July 1, 2025, Hiep Thanh Commune's government apparatus will officially come into operation with 4 specialized agencies and equivalent, managing 18 villages in the area.

Comrade Hoang Anh Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune, spoke at the conference.

The commune identifies the Commune People's Committee as an important focal point to implement and concretize policies from the provincial level.

After more than 3 months of operation, the Commune People's Committee has drafted and reported to the Commune People's Council to organize 3 meetings and issue 20 Resolutions. Regarding administrative management, the commune has issued 3,272 directives, decisions, plans and received 5,277 documents from superiors and agencies and units.

In particular, the work of organizing the apparatus and personnel was completed promptly after the merger. The Commune People's Committee has arranged 35 civil servants to perform professional tasks, ensuring the principle of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities". Management positions have also been completed with 2 Department Heads, 2 Deputy Department Heads, 1 part-time Director and 1 Deputy Director, along with 22 non-professional staff temporarily assigned to support the work...

At the meeting, the People's Committee of Hiep Thanh commune pointed out a number of difficulties, problems and recommendations such as: Proposing to establish a Commune Investment Project Management Board to perform the task of investor of projects in the commune.
