Khuong Dinh Women: Spreading the spirit of solidarity and creativity for the community

HNP - On October 13, the Women's Union of Khuong Dinh Ward held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025). The meeting was an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women and express gratitude to generations of cadres and members who have actively contributed to the Union's work and social life in the locality.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward, President of the Women's Union of Khuong Dinh Ward Hoang Thi Dung reviewed the 95-year journey of formation and development of the Vietnam Women's Union - a socio -political organization representing the legal and legitimate rights and interests of women.

With the spirit of "Solidarity - Creativity - Integration - Development", the Association has closely followed the political tasks of the locality, grasped the needs and aspirations of women of all classes, organized and implemented many movements and models of practical significance. Many typical models have been maintained and widely spread such as: "Women of the Capital behave beautifully" , "Building women of the Capital who are loyal - creative - capable - elegant" , the model "Khuong Dinh women collect scrap to clean the environment - give gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances" , or the contest "Roads and streets with blooming murals" . These activities not only bring practical benefits to members but also contribute to beautifying the landscape, raising community awareness, building the image of Khuong Dinh ward "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful", civilized and affectionate.

Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, President of the Women's Union of Khuong Dinh ward Hoang Thi Dung affirmed that the results achieved were thanks to the dedication, responsibility and solidarity of the staff and women's union members of the whole ward. In the coming time, the Union will continue to innovate, create, and build the image of women in the capital "Loyal - Creative - Responsible - Elegant", contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Women's Congress of the ward for the term 2025-2030.

The Union successfully organized the First Congress of Women's Delegates of the Ward, term 2025-2030, implemented many practical models and activities, contributing to the development of the locality. The President of the Hanoi Women's Union requested the Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, providing practical care for women, children and the community.

Also at the conference, Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of Khuong Dinh Ward Vo Dang Dung acknowledged and commended the proud results of the Ward Women's Union. He emphasized that with 50 branches , 172 women's groups and 7,762 members , the Union organization is growing stronger and stronger, the Union's staff is increasingly mature, clearly affirming the role and position of women in leadership, management, as well as in social life.
