On the morning of September 27, the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province, including delegates: Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Cao Manh Linh, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Judicial Committee; Tran Van Thuc, Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Education and Training, had a meeting with voters of Sam Son city before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, provincial departments and branches, and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, the representative of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed the voters about the expected content and program of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly ; reported the results of handling opinions and recommendations of Sam Son City voters sent to the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the Session opened on October 21, 2024 and is expected to close on the morning of November 30, 2024 with a total of 29 working days and conducted in 2 phases (phase 1 from October 21 to November 13, 2024; phase 2 from November 20 to the morning of November 30, 2024).

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 16 draft laws and 2 draft resolutions; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget, and supervise and decide on other important issues within its authority.

Recommend the National Assembly to direct the review and reduction of administrative procedures on investment and business procedures, land lease, and construction permits, so that businesses have the opportunity to access and avoid cumbersome procedures. Recommend that ministries and relevant agencies pay attention to the regime for Veterans who enlisted after April 30, 1975, to August 31, 1989 (not eligible under Decision 62/2015/QD-TTg) to enjoy health insurance.

At the same time, he discussed and clarified a number of issues of concern to the voters and made recommendations to the central ministries, departments and the Party Committee and government of Thanh Hoa province. Delegate Mai Van Hai requested the departments, branches and local leaders to study solutions and focus on resolving issues that voters reflected and recommended within their authority.
