The monitoring delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province worked with the Provincial Ethnic Committee

In recent times, the Provincial Ethnic Committee has presided over and coordinated with relevant departments and branches to advise the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee to issue documents directing, operating, and guiding the implementation of solutions to the shortage of residential land, production land, and domestic water in a timely, strict, and correct manner. The total capital allocated for implementation from 2022 to 2024, including central and local budget capital, is 79,967 billion VND. By August 2024, the disbursement of allocated capital reached 90.38%. Of which, 173 residential plots were supported, 317 houses for poor households were completed; job conversion support was provided for 1,930 households; 8 centralized domestic water works were built and 539 households were provided with decentralized domestic water.

At the meeting, the Provincial Ethnic Committee recommended that the central ministries, branches and the Provincial People's Committee consider increasing the level of support for policies on residential land, housing, production land and job conversion. At the same time, it is necessary to expand the beneficiaries of the policy to include near-poor households and support 100% of the funding to support housing construction for poor households in ethnic minority areas...

Speaking at the working session, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Provincial Ethnic Committee in implementing the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the past time. In the coming time, he requested the Provincial Ethnic Committee to closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches, associations, unions and localities to focus on promoting propaganda activities, raising awareness of all levels and branches and strengthening training for officials in charge of implementation to ensure the objectives of the program. Focus on mobilizing social resources along with reviewing and understanding people's needs to provide support to the right beneficiaries, in accordance with regulations; regularly inspect and supervise the implementation process at the grassroots level. Organize periodic mid-term and final reviews to re-evaluate the results of support policies, and at the same time have effective solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles; Along with that, focus on studying guidance documents from superiors to improve the quality of advice for the Provincial People's Committee to direct specialized agencies and localities in effectively implementing the program in the next phase.
