The District Police Football Team won the 2023 Nho Quan District Youth Football Tournament

On the morning of August 31, Nho Quan District People's Committee held the closing ceremony of the 2023 Nho Quan District Youth Football Tournament.

The final round of the Nho Quan District Youth Football Tournament 2023 will be held over 3 days (August 25, 26 and 31, 2023). The final round will have the participation of 8 best teams: District Police, Department of Education and Training, Duc Long Commune, Xich Tho Commune, Nho Quan Town, Van Phu Commune, Son Ha Commune, and Quang Lac Commune.

At the tournament, the teams gave the audience good, dramatic matches, beautiful and technical moves, leaving many good impressions in the hearts of the audience and sports fans of Nho Quan district.

Through live matches, the two football teams of Nho Quan District Police and Quang Lac Commune won tickets to the final match to compete for the championship cup.

In the final, with determination, the players of both teams increased the tempo of the match and created many dangerous situations, however, there were no goals in the official minutes, bringing the match to the penalty shootout to determine the winner.

At the end of the match, the Nho Quan District Police team defeated the Quang Lac Commune team with a penalty score of 5 - 3, winning the Nho Quan District Youth Football Championship Cup. This is also the team that won the championship for 2 consecutive years (2022, 2023).

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 Nho Quan District Youth Football Tournament awarded a cup, flag, gold medal and a bonus of 20 million VND to the first prize-winning team, Nho Quan District Police; awarded a flag, silver medal and a bonus of 15 million VND to the Quang Lac Commune football team that won the second prize; awarded a flag, bronze medal and a bonus of 10 million VND to the Nho Quan Town football team that won the third prize; and awarded a consolation prize and a prize of 5 million VND to the Son Ha Commune football team.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 secondary prizes, each worth 1 million VND, to the player who scored the most goals, the best goalkeeper and the best referee team.

Through the 2023 Nho Quan District Youth Football Tournament, it aims to discover players with high quality and professional skills to provide for units to participate in industry, provincial and regional tournaments.

At the same time, this is also an activity to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023).
