Innovation in propaganda and handling of information reflected by the press

On December 20, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a conference to review propaganda work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quang, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, reported on the results of implementing tasks in 2024.

In 2024, the Thai Nguyen Propaganda Department will advise and promptly disseminate resolutions, directives, conclusions, and regulations of the Central Committee; tasks and results of socio -economic development, national defense and security; orient propaganda activities, press, publishing, foreign information and international cooperation, and propaganda on seas, islands, and land borders.

In addition, in 2024, the Thai Nguyen Propaganda Department organized a monthly press conference. During the year, there were over 6,000 articles written by central agencies and industry newspapers about Thai Nguyen (94.5% of which were positive information). There were over 90 press incidents reported by localities and units that were inspected, handled, and responded to by the press.

At the 4th political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024, 1 individual won the C prize and 1 individual won the encouragement prize. Many collectives and individuals in the Propaganda sector were awarded labor medals, certificates of merit, certificates of merit by the Central, the province, and the sector...

In 2025, the Thai Nguyen Propaganda Department set out the task of continuing to strongly innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda work; focusing on propaganda orientation, participating in contributing to the drafting of documents for Party congresses at all levels and the 21st Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Congress.

Along with the whole country in implementing the revolution of reorganizing, merging, and streamlining the apparatus, Thai Nguyen Propaganda Department is determined to do a good job of ideological work, creating unity and high determination in the political system; propagating to cadres, party members, and people about the policy of reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus of agencies and units, and streamlining the payroll.

In addition, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department emphasized foreign propaganda and information work; strengthened direction and orientation of press activities, advised Party committees to direct and handle urgent and sensitive issues reported by the press.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department awarded certificates of merit to 5 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda work in 2024.
