In an interview before the training session on the morning of June 29, coach Mai Duc Chung shared some notable information about the preparations of the Vietnamese women's team ahead of the 2023 World Cup.

Head coach of Vietnam women's team revealed that Huynh Nhu and her teammates are enjoying quite good benefits.
“The lives of Vietnamese female football players have changed a lot compared to before, receiving attention from the Party, State and society in training and even in every meal.
The athlete's allowance now is more than 1 million VND/day. This is very good and exciting', Coach Mai Duc Chung shared.
According to research, this is the first time the Vietnamese women's team has enjoyed such high salaries as the current ones, equal to the male players.
This regime includes food allowances for national team level according to Circular 86/2020/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance on food allowances for elite athletes and training-related allowances and training wages.
Regarding the force, before returning to Vietnam after the European training trip, the Vietnamese women's team had 2 injured cases: Chuong Thi Kieu and Huynh Nhu.
But Mr. Mai Duc Chung confirmed that both of them are in good condition and can return in the near future.
“Chuong Thi Kieu has recovered about 80%. I created conditions for Kieu to compete for about 15 minutes in Germany and she is gradually stabilizing.
Huynh Nhu suffered a sprain but has fully recovered and has now started practicing with the team," said Mr. Chung.
Huynh Nhu has returned to training after injury.
The 1951-born coach said that in addition to training, diet and nutritional foods provided by Herbalife also play a very important role for Vietnamese female players.
“With the attention of the Vietnam Football Federation, through the European training session, the Vietnamese women's team has achieved very good physical strength and vitality.

Regarding physical distribution towards the 2023 World Cup, we have done this since the training session in Germany.
Especially in the match with Germany, the players' physical strength was very good and abundant, no one had cramps or muscle strain.
The most typical image is Thanh Nha. Even though she played until the last minute, she still ran very fast. The opposing team's midfielder couldn't catch up.
From these things it can be seen that the physical strength of the Vietnamese women's team has improved a lot.
Even after the match with the German women's team, the next afternoon we continued to practice speed and maintain endurance.
Until now, when returning to Vietnam, the team continues to implement these training programs to ensure physical fitness for the upcoming World Cup.
