The unit gave Mid-Autumn gifts to schools in Vinh Thuc commune, and also gave 17 gifts to disadvantaged students, children in the program "Helping children go to school" and the model "Adopted children of Border Guard Station" with a total value of 20 million VND. This is an activity showing the care and companionship of the border guards in the cause of educating people, contributing to encouraging children to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.
In addition, implementing the military and military rear policy, Van Gia Port Border Guard Station has allocated the unit's fund to give 110 gifts, worth 55 million VND to children of officers and professional soldiers working at the unit. These meaningful gifts not only help the children have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival but also encourage the spirit of officers and soldiers to confidently complete the task of protecting sovereignty and security of the sea and island borders.
