In recent years, Hai Hoa Border Guard Station (Provincial Border Guard) has focused on synchronously and comprehensively implementing border protection measures, firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty , and effectively fighting all types of crimes.
Hai Hoa Border Post is responsible for managing and protecting 11.4km of national border, managing the border area of Hai Hoa ward (Mong Cai city). The area managed by the unit is large, densely populated; every day, many people from inside and outside the province come to do business and live, posing complex risks of all kinds of crimes, especially drug crimes, smuggling, and illegal transportation of goods across the border. Clearly identifying the characteristics of the locality, the unit has developed plans and strategies to prevent and effectively combat all kinds of crimes.
Accordingly, the unit has proactively developed specific plans and strategies, directed officers and soldiers to grasp the situation inside and outside the border; closely inspected and controlled the trails and openings along the border. Assigned specific responsibilities to professional units; strengthened coordination with functional forces and synchronously deployed border protection measures and professional measures, absolutely not to be passive or surprised in any situation, and fought uncompromisingly against all types of crime.
In particular, identifying the masses as important eyes and ears in protecting the border lines, landmarks, and maintaining security and order in the border area, Hai Hoa Border Guard Station regularly innovates and improves the quality of mass mobilization work; propagates and mobilizes people to well implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, and actively participates in the fight against and denounces crimes.
The unit regularly advises the locality to maintain the effective operation of households participating in self-management of border lines and landmarks according to Directive 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on the movement of the entire people participating in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation. Thanks to that, the combined strength of the masses has been mobilized to participate in the implementation and effectively fight against all types of crimes.
Currently, all 9 neighborhoods in Hai Hoa ward have been launched by the unit to mobilize the mass movement to self-manage border lines and landmarks, with the effective maintenance of 3 groups/67 households participating in self-managing border lines and landmarks; contributing to building an increasingly strong border area, maintaining peace on the border line.
Since the beginning of 2024, the unit has developed a plan and organized hundreds of officers and soldiers to patrol, control, guard, and observe the border; maintain a mobile team with 5 officers and soldiers to patrol and control the border. Thereby, it has promptly fought to prevent smuggling, illegal transportation of goods across the border, and illegal immigration.
Hai Hoa Border Guard Station has sent hundreds of officers and soldiers to grasp the local situation and the people's situation, to propagate and mobilize the masses to participate in the fight against crimes and illegal immigration; to organize legal propaganda, distribute leaflets on the Vietnam Border Law and detailed regulations for implementation, and to propagate the prevention of human trafficking and illegal immigration.
With drastic and synchronous solutions, since the beginning of 2024, the activities of all types of crimes in general, smuggling and illegal transportation of goods across the border in the area under the responsibility of Hai Hoa Border Guard Station in particular, have always been well controlled. The unit has promptly detected and prevented 13 cases/14 subjects with law violations; of which, 4 cases/5 subjects were criminally prosecuted, 9 cases/9 subjects were administratively handled...
