Riding the wave of tourism growth, Vietnam Airlines reopens a series of international routes

Specifically, on April 1, Vietnam Airlines officially resumed direct flights from Hanoi to Kuala Lumpur with a frequency of 3 flights/week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Currently, the airline is operating 7 flights/week on the Ho Chi Minh City-Kuala Lumpur route. The reopening of this route helps to enhance trade and cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia, which is the ASEAN Chair 2025 and is one of our country's important economic partners in the region.

Previously, from March 30, the airline reconnected two destinations, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, with a frequency of one flight per day, bringing the total number of round-trip flights from Vietnam to Asia's top destination to 14 flights per week.

This contributes to promoting trade between two major economic centers in the region, while facilitating travel for businessmen, investors and tourists.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating 10 flights/week from Vietnam to Kuala Lumpur.

Also on March 30, Vietnam Airlines reopened the Da Nang-Bangkok route with a frequency of 4 flights/week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. By re-operating this route, the airline helps connect three major cities in Vietnam, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, to Bangkok, with a total of 60 flights per week, providing many convenient options for people of the two countries, while contributing to meeting the travel needs and connecting famous tourist cities in the region.

The resumption of the above three routes and the opening of the Ho Chi Minh City-Beijing route via Daxing Airport from March 30 not only demonstrates Vietnam Airlines' efforts to complete its international flight network but also makes an important contribution to enhancing the country's position in the region and the world.

During its 30-year journey of taking off with the country, Vietnam Airlines has continuously expanded its flight network, connecting Vietnam and the world. With a commitment to improving service quality, ensuring operational safety and efficiency, the national airline is proud to accompany the country's development, carrying the aspiration to reach far and affirming Vietnam's position in the international arena.
