Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang inspected the construction progress of Vang Ang dam project, Tho Binh commune (Lam Binh).

Also attending were leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the People's Committee of Lam Binh district.

The project to urgently repair and ensure the safety of Vang Ang Irrigation Dam in Tho Binh Commune, Lam Binh District is invested by the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Rural Development Works of Tuyen Quang Province. The project has a total investment of 10 billion VND, ensuring the safe operation of the project, providing irrigation water for nearly 130 hectares of two-crop rice production.

The project will be under construction from June 2024 and will be completed in December. Currently, the construction unit has completed a number of items such as the left main dam and the left downstream embankment.
