The competition was attended by over 70 gunners from 5 teams representing localities with a developed movement of playing with clay cannons in the district. The teams competed in 2 categories: pot cannons and boat cannons. To successfully launch a firecracker, there are 3 important factors: choosing and handling the soil, the technique of pressing the cannon pin and launching the firecracker. With boat cannons, the 25 - 28kg heavy cannons are lifted by the gunners to face and chest level, and slammed down on the ground hard and fast, creating a loud bang, the cannon's hull opens. The louder the cannon explodes, the longer the hull opens, and the more skillful the cannon maker is. With pot cannons, the smaller cannon weighs 3 - 5kg, the higher and farther the cannon flies, the shell leaves the cannon without breaking, and the louder the sound when it lands, the winner wins. The clay cannon competition has attracted a large number of people and tourists to watch and cheer.
The teams received souvenir flags and congratulatory flowers.
