At the second conference to summarize the 30-day and night campaign, units in Dong Nai province said that the section through Bien Hoa city had handed over nearly 20 hectares out of 60 hectares to the investor, and the section through Long Thanh district had handed over about 56 hectares out of 230 hectares.
Regarding the area of land counting, the People's Committee of Bien Hoa City and the People's Committee of Long Thanh District said that the agencies counting the compensation land in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project have basically completed 100%.
Localities continue to urgently approve compensation plans, support for people, and disburse investment capital.
However, in each locality there are still hundreds of cases where land origin verification has not been completed.
Explaining the problems affecting progress, localities said that there are many cases of houses and properties built on other people's land, so according to regulations, they must declare the owner and complete the documents, which takes a lot of time in setting prices and making compensation plans.
In addition, there are many plots of land overlapping the recovered boundary with high voltage power projects, so it is necessary to ask for opinions on compensation and support plans... Therefore, it significantly affects the progress of project implementation.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc, acting chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, assessed that the inventory and confirmation of land origin were difficult tasks for the project, but local departments and branches worked day and night to clear the project's site.
However, the target of handing over the entire project site before June 30 could not be completed.
Therefore, localities are making efforts and concentrating human resources to complete the goal of handing over the entire site for project construction in July 2024.
"To do this, sectors and localities must complete the approval of compensation and support plans for all remaining cases and the resettlement review work for households," Mr. Duc emphasized.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway section through Dong Nai is more than 34km long.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway construction investment project runs through Dong Nai province for about 34.2km (through Bien Hoa city for 6.2km and Long Thanh district for 28km).
Of which, component project 1 (passing through Bien Hoa city and Long Thanh district, invested by Dong Nai province People's Committee) has a length of 16km, requiring the recovery of over 137 hectares of land.
In component project 2, the length is about 18.2km (with the Ministry of Transport as the managing agency), with a total land acquisition area of over 151.5 hectares.
