Outstanding policy credit in Tay Giang reaches over 309 billion VND

(QNO) - The Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Tay Giang district is currently implementing credit programs through entrustment to associations, unions and 102 savings and loan groups in 10/10 communes.

As of June 23, the total policy credit capital reached over VND345.9 billion, the total outstanding debt was over VND309.4 billion with 4,399 customers still in debt. The interest rate reached 101% of the plan.

Policy credit capital has promptly supported people to invest in production and business development, create jobs; support students in difficult circumstances; and help people in rural areas build and repair clean water and sanitation facilities that meet standards.

To continue improving credit quality, in the coming time, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Tay Giang district will coordinate with associations and unions in the new commune to re-sign the trust contract.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the People's Committees of communes in effectively organizing and implementing policy credit activities; promote the mobilization of savings from residents and members of savings and loan groups.
