Ferran Torres scored twice in Barcelona's big win

(Dan Tri) - Goals from Ferran Torres and Dani Olmo helped Barcelona beat Getafe 3-0 at Johan Cruyff Stadium in round 5 of La Liga on the morning of September 22.

With Real Madrid winning all of La Liga, Barcelona cannot afford to stumble in the title race. Coach Hansi Flick fielded an attacking lineup with four stars Raphinha, Olmo, Torres and Lewandowski.

Playing at home, Barcelona quickly dominated, forcing Getafe to defend hard. In the 15th minute, Barcelona made the difference. Raphinha had a good through ball for Dani Olmo to skillfully backheel for Torres to run in and score the opening goal of the match.

Barcelona played quite leisurely and in the 34th minute, Raphinha broke the offside trap before passing to Torres to finish accurately to increase the score to 2-0. The Spanish striker made his mark with a double after just over half an hour of play.

The first half ended with a big advantage for Barcelona. In the second half, Getafe suddenly attacked to find an equalizer but failed. Barcelona continued to control the game and they continued to show their sharpness in attack.

In the 62nd minute, Rashford accelerated on the right wing and passed the ball back to Olmo to score, raising the score to 3-0. In the final minutes of the match, coach Hansi Flick's team had many more good chances but could not score more goals.

Beating Getafe 3-0 at home, Barcelona is second in La Liga with 13 points from 5 games. Real Madrid continues to lead as they are the only team with a perfect record since the start of the season.
