MU wants Dimarco

Manchester United officials are preparing for the winter transfer plan, by signing Inter Milan left-back Federico Dimarco.

MU believe the Italian 's arrival could be key to strengthening the project under Ruben Amorim, in the race for a Champions League spot next season.

With 19 goals and 35 assists in nearly 200 games, Dimarco has cemented his place among the best full-backs in European football .

His ability to create danger in attack and his solidity in defence make him an attractive prospect for any club . Legendary Roberto Carlos has praised him as “one of the best left-backs in the world ” .

Dimarco's contract with Inter runs until 2027. According to Italian newspapers, the Milanese team is ready to let him leave in January 2026, if MU makes a reasonable offer.

Gavi rested for 4-5 months

Bad news for Gavi and Barcelona : the Seville native will not return to the pitch until 2026, after undergoing knee surgery.

According to Barca's announcement, Gavi just underwent arthroscopic surgery on the meniscus in his right knee on Tuesday, which means he will have to rest for 4-5 months.

When doctors informed Gavi that the injury was much more serious than expected, he almost collapsed because he knew he would be out for a long time, even threatening his chance to participate in the 2026 World Cup.

If Barca's announcement is true, Gavi will only return at the end of February or the beginning of March. He still needs more time to regain his ball feeling.

In 2023, Gavi completely tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and injured his lateral meniscus. He had to rest for 316 days and only recently returned.

Barca asked to borrow Mainoo

With Marcus Rashford quickly integrating and leaving a strong impression, Barcelona intends to contact MU to borrow Kobbie Mainoo when the winter transfer market opens.

Barca were among the clubs most interested in Mainoo, as he requested to leave on loan at the end of the last transfer window.

MU prevented Mainoo from leaving, declaring that he was still important to the club. However, Ruben Amorim continuously left the English midfielder on the bench.

Now, with Gavi seriously injured, Barca officially started the negotiation process with MU in the hope of welcoming Mainoo in January 2026.
