Storm Bualoi has caused severe damage to the education sector in Thanh Hoa province, with a total estimated value of more than 6.9 billion VND. According to a report from the provincial Department of Education and Training, as of September 30, 105 educational establishments in the area have been seriously affected.
Many schools have faced roof damage, deep flooding, landslides in schoolyards, and severe damage to teaching and boarding facilities. This has caused significant disruption to the teaching and learning activities of thousands of students.

Immediately after the storm dissipated, the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training urgently directed localities and educational institutions to proactively deploy remedial measures.
According to the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, key tasks include cleaning the environment, checking and promptly repairing damaged items, to ensure absolute safety before welcoming students back to school.
Local authorities, teachers and parents joined hands to clean up and repair damage, helping schools to soon stabilize teaching and learning activities.
Thanh Hoa's education sector is continuing to review and compile detailed statistics on the extent of damage at each unit. The Department of Education and Training of this province is also proposing timely support plans, especially prioritizing the most severely affected schools, in order to quickly restore the best learning conditions for students.
