National Innovation Day 2025 (Innovate Viet Nam 2025) is the largest and most typical science, technology and innovation event in Vietnam in 2025, chaired and organized by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and coordinated by the National Innovation Center (NIC).
Determined to turn innovation into practice
At Innovate Vietnam 2025, speaking at the National Innovation Policy Forum,FPT General Director Nguyen Van Khoa affirmed: "Innovation is not regulated, not bound by financial regulations - but is essentially the soul of development, the most valuable intangible asset of each organization".

Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa said that throughout 37 years of development, FPT has established innovation as a core value - nurtured as a sustainable culture, starting from the smallest tasks. In 2025, more than 5,000 initiatives from 84,000 FPT employees in 30 countries helped the group save nearly 800 billion VND in operating costs, many of which came from the operations, product design and sales teams.
From a strategic perspective, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa emphasized that innovation is the "underlying thread" in the four major pillars of the Central Resolution, including: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development.

Therefore, to turn innovation into practice rather than just a slogan, it is necessary to promote the completion of legal corridors for new fields such as high technology, logistics, AI; flexibly incorporate innovation into policies; build a "technology strategy map" by locality; and develop strategic links between large and small enterprises in the ecosystem.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa also recommended that Vietnamese enterprises need to proactively improve their capacity to absorb technology, to take the lead in the wave of high-quality international cooperation, from "cheap processing" to "technology transfer alliances".
“Vietnam is facing a special opportunity to reposition its role in the global innovation chain. With a young workforce, an open market and an increasingly large capacity to absorb technology, if we have determination, mechanisms and a spirit of continuous innovation, we can absolutely become the center of innovation technology in Asia,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa.
Comprehensive innovative technology ecosystem
At Innovate Vietnam 2025, FPT Corporation showcased platforms, solutions, products and services in the Made by FPT ecosystem that are widely applied in key areas: cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cultural preservation, semiconductors and high-tech human resource training. The ecosystem reflects creativity, technological mastery and the aspiration to accompany the country's sustainable development.

Including FPT Cloud - New generation cloud platform meeting international standards (PCI DSS, ISO 27017:27013), providing more than 80 services from infrastructure to applications, currently serving more than 3,000 domestic and foreign enterprises.
FPT AI Agents - Artificial intelligence platform applying Agentic AI, Generative AI and multi-modal models, effectively deploying multi-lingual "AI personnel" (Vietnamese, English, Japanese, Indonesian), helping businesses accelerate productivity, optimize operations and improve customer experience.
In the field of culture, FPT Culture Tech offers a comprehensive solution to “immortalize” heritage in digital space. The system integrates modern digital technology to create attractive cultural and tourism experiences such as virtual maps, virtual reality tours, Holograms, and 3D Mapping performances.
FPT also introduced chip products developed by the group - marking a step forward in the journey to master core technology. PMIC (Power Management IC) chip is the core chip line in mobile devices, IoT, medical equipment, electric vehicles. In addition, FPT also has VR Training - Mivo by akaVerse - a virtual reality application supporting training in semiconductor device operation. This technology helps standardize skills, optimize costs and shorten training time for engineering teams.

Along with technological capabilities, FPT introduces AI and semiconductor training programs, with international standard learning materials, a team of domestic and foreign lecturers and close ties with businesses. Students can participate in real projects early, accumulate specialized skills, especially according to the Engineer 57 program roadmap - aiming to build a strategic successor force for national digital transformation.
Joining hands with Japanese partners and NIC to promote digital transformation in healthcare
Within the framework of the event, FPT Corporation, Konica Minolta (a leading Japanese corporation specializing in the production of office equipment and diagnostic imaging equipment) and NIC signed an agreement, expected to jointly promote digital transformation of healthcare in Vietnam.
FPT focuses on developing AI models in medical image analysis, building a data collection and management system for research. Konica Minolta proposes a common research topic on X-ray kinetic analysis in medical image diagnosis using AI. NIC coordinates with local regulatory agencies and medical facilities to ensure legal corridors and prepare a suitable research environment.

The combination of advanced technology from Japan and implementation capacity in Vietnam is expected to create a solid foundation for innovation in healthcare, improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, and promote smart healthcare in the near future.
FPT's activities at Innovate Vietnam 2025 once again demonstrate FPT's strategic vision: taking technology as the foundation, innovation as the driving force, and people as the center to fulfill the commitment to work with Vietnam's public and private sectors to create and grow strongly in the global digital era.
