Nearly 535 billion VND invested in education and human resource quality

Implementing Project 5 on Education and Training Development, Improving the Quality of Human Resources under the Government's Program 1719, Phu Tho province has invested nearly 535 billion VND to invest in school and classroom facilities; foster knowledge and create jobs for ethnic minorities and mountainous areas.

Tan Son District Women's Union organized a training course on "Community Capacity Building" for Women's Union members of Kim Thuong, Xuan Dai, Xuan Son communes, Tan Son district.

Accordingly, the Program spends 534 billion 516 million VND to invest in facilities and equipment for boarding and semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities, and schools with semi-boarding students, including: Provincial Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities; 6 semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities in Tan Son district; 1 school in Yen Lap district; 2 junior high school boarding schools for ethnic minorities in Thanh Son district.

The program also invests in repairing and maintaining a number of factory buildings, classrooms, and dormitories for the Provincial Ethnic Minority Vocational College, the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Centers of Tan Son and Yen Lap districts; supports the application of information technology and digital transformation in teaching and learning management at vocational training institutions; purchases machinery and equipment for training; provides consultation, guidance, start-ups, vocational training, employment, and employment support services... in Thanh Son, Tan Son, Yen Lap, Thanh Thuy, and Doan Hung districts; and trains and improves capacity for the community and program implementation staff at all levels...

Up to now, localities and units benefiting from the project are speeding up construction works to ensure capital disbursement on schedule.
