Attending the program were the Executive Board of the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association of Thailand and more than 130 overseas Vietnamese business delegates.
Speaking at the event, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh sent his best wishes and expressed his sincere thanks to the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association and overseas Vietnamese businessmen for their important contributions to community building, as well as their dedication and many practical actions to contribute to the country's economic development in recent times.
Affirming that overseas Vietnamese businessmen are also an inseparable part and a resource of the Vietnamese business community, Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh highly appreciated the role of overseas Vietnamese businessmen, not only actively participating in the local socio-economic development, but also being a pioneering force in promoting Vietnam-Thailand economic and trade cooperation, together with the overseas Vietnamese community, contributing to building increasingly good and sustainable friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Consul General Dinh Hoang Linh also informed about Resolution 68-NQ/TU on private economic development. Through the first time identifying the private economy as the most important driving force of the national economy, Resolution 68-NQ/TU shows the Party and State's recognition and trust in the business community.
This is also a favorable condition for overseas businessmen to strengthen solidarity, strive together with businessmen nationwide, and contribute to the new era, the era of strong and prosperous development of the Vietnamese people.

On this occasion, the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association of Thailand organized a call for the Thai business community to contribute to support compatriots in the country to overcome the difficulties and damages caused by storm No. 10 (Bualoi). At the event, the total amount of contributions reached 500,000 Baht, equivalent to 400 million VND.
Mr. Ho Van Lam, Chairman of the Thai-Vietnamese Business Association in Thailand, emotionally shared: “When we know that our compatriots in the country are struggling to cope with storms and floods, we cannot sit still. Although far from home, the hearts of Vietnamese people always turn to Vietnam. This is the responsibility and deep affection of those who live far away from home.”
The program to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day in Khon Kaen, Thailand not only carries the meaning of gratitude and honoring overseas Vietnamese entrepreneurs, but also strongly demonstrates the tradition of national solidarity, the spirit of "mutual love and affection", the steadfast love and responsibility of our overseas Vietnamese to the people in the country.
