According to records, the price of live pigs in the North decreased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in many localities compared to last weekend.

Accordingly, the price of live pigs in Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen after decreasing by 2,000 VND/kg is 60,000 VND/kg.

Only Ha Nam province still maintains the old transaction, the remaining localities also reduced by 1,000 VND/kg to about 59,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.

Today's live pig price in the North fluctuates between 59,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.

Pig price today in the Central and Central Highlands regions is around 59,000 VND/kg

The pig market in the Central and Central Highlands regions recorded a slight decrease in many localities.

In detail, after a reduction of 1,000 VND/kg, traders in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh purchased live pigs at 59,000 VND/kg.

With the same decrease, the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa all reduced to the lowest level of 58,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the purchase price of live pigs in the Central and Central Highlands regions is around 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

The highest price of live pigs today in the South is 62,000 VND/kg

In the South, the price of live pigs increased by 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg compared to last weekend.

In detail, after increasing by 1,000 VND/kg, traders in Dong Nai are purchasing live pigs at the highest price in the region of 62,000 VND/kg.

With the same increase, An Giang, Tien Giang, Bac Lieu and Tra Vinh adjusted the transaction price to 60,000 VND/kg.

Ben Tre province increased by 2,000 VND/kg to 61,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the Southern region today fluctuates between 60,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.

The average price of live pigs nationwide has fallen to 59,700 VND/kg. Compared to last month, the price of live pigs has increased by 4,000 VND/kg. With the current positive situation, many farmers have started to restore their herds. The price of piglets remains high, with the North reaching 1.55 million VND/pig (7-10kg), the Central region 1.38 million VND/pig and the South from 1.2 - 1.48 million VND/pig.
