Dormitory rental prices of universities in Hanoi in 2024

Hanoi National University supports students with 2 million VND/month for living expenses and free dormitory accommodation for those studying Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

For students who do not register for priority majors, Hanoi National University stipulates dormitory room prices from 140,000 - 215,000 VND/month depending on the room type, 2-10 people/room (price does not include additional services according to student needs).

Conditions for students to register include: Students with social policies - children of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, children of people who enjoy policies like war invalids, children of people with meritorious services; students with disabilities, whose father or mother is an ethnic minority. Students with permanent residence in mountainous areas, areas with especially difficult socio -economic conditions, orphans of both parents; children of poor or near-poor households according to current regulations of the State are also entitled to incentives.

Students under the strategic training mission of Hanoi National University who achieve high awards and high scores in excellent student exams and university entrance exams; actively participate in activities organized by the school, Youth Union, student association, dormitory or social organizations will also be exempted from dormitory fees.

Banking Academy dormitory has many types of rooms from 250,000 to 600,000 VND/person/month. In which, students pay for electricity and water themselves (dormitory electricity and water prices are based on the current electricity and water prices in Hanoi).

In the 2024-2025 school year, the Diplomatic Academy plans to receive 80 students (including dormitory building C and guest house 67 Chua Lang). Area 57m2/room, each room includes bedroom, toilet, private bathroom; air conditioner, water heater, bunk bed, study desk, bedding, pillows and mattresses; shared kitchen area and shared laundry area fully equipped with amenities.

Regarding room rental prices, in dormitory area C, a 5-person room costs 1.7 million VND/month/person; a 7-person room costs 1.3 million. In guest house 67 Chua Lang, a 7-person room costs 1.3 million VND/month/person (1st and 2nd floors); a 3-person room costs 2 million VND (3rd and 4th floors).

The above fee does not include electricity, water, common living expenses and monthly parking fee. Contract period is 10 months.

The University of Transport divides students into two categories for dormitory accommodation. In case 1, full-time students pay 600,000 VND/semester and in case 2, undergraduate students pay 400,000 VND/semester.

The school supports electricity bills for students in the dormitory 10kWh/student/month. In addition to the supported indexes, students must pay according to the school's regulated price.

Hanoi University of Industry has 3 dormitories, divided into standard rooms and high-quality rooms, ranging from 240,000 to 800,000 VND/student/month.

The University of Construction has announced the registration for boarding in the dormitory, with priority given to policy students (children of war invalids, martyrs, sick soldiers, chemical poisoned children, remote areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minorities), students with difficult circumstances, and students from other provinces. The school dormitory has two prices: 250,000 VND/month/person (closed room, basic furniture) and 400,000 VND/month (plus hot water heater, shower).

Foreign Trade University divides dormitories into 2 types of rooms: 6 beds and 8 beds. For priority students, the dormitory fee is 150,000 VND/month/person, for non-priority students it is 300,000 VND/month. In addition, students are exempted from water and 7 kWh of electricity per month.
