Gold price today June 29: SJC gold bars are nearly 16 million VND more expensive than the world price

Domestic gold prices are down but still much more expensive than the world market.

The price of gold bars at Saigon Jewelry Company - SJC is currently being bought at 117.2 million VND, sold at 119.2 million VND, down 500,000 VND compared to the end of last week. Gold rings with 4 numbers 9 at SJC Company also decreased 500,000 VND when buying to 113.2 million VND, sold at 115.7 million VND. The difference in buying and selling prices of gold bars and gold rings at SJC continues to be maintained at 2 million VND/tael.

Bao Tin Minh Chau Company alone reduced the price of buying gold rings by 400,000 VND to 114.1 million VND and selling at 117.1 million VND. This company continues to maintain the highest selling price of gold rings in the market and the difference in buying and selling price of gold rings is also maintained at 3 million VND/tael. Currently, each tael of SJC gold bar is still 15.6 million VND more expensive than the world price .

The world gold price fell more than 94 USD after a week, down to 3,272.79 USD/ounce. The precious metal fell to its lowest level in nearly 1 month after the US-China trade deal made progress with the acceleration of rare earth shipments to the US. At the same time, military tensions in the Middle East also showed signs of cooling down when the ceasefire between Israel and Iran was being maintained.

Many analysts believe that the downward trend of gold will continue. Specifically, of the 17 analysts participating in Kitco News' survey on the trend of precious metals next week, 9 people, or 53%, said that gold prices will decrease; 6 people, or 35%, predicted an increase, and 2 people said that the precious metal will move sideways.

Meanwhile, many individual investors still predict that gold prices will increase again. The results of an online survey with 233 individual investors participating showed that 119 people, or 51%, predicted that gold prices would increase. On the contrary, 63 people, or 27%, predicted that gold prices would decrease, and the remaining 49 investors, or 21%, thought that gold would fluctuate sideways./.
