Tay Ninh prepares to invest in many key traffic projects

In recent times, the province has invested in many large-scale transport projects and works to improve infrastructure, enhance regional connectivity and create momentum for socio-economic development. The province is currently preparing to continue investing in a number of other important transport works.

Provincial Road 882D is under construction to be completed in 2025.

In which, the DT.826D project (section from Ring Road 4 to DT.830) has a total length of about 5km, total capital of nearly 979 billion VND, cost of site clearance and resettlement: 483.5 billion VND (cost of site clearance for 80m wide area is 422.4 billion VND; resettlement cost is 61.1 billion VND, investment cost for construction of roads and bridges is 495 billion VND).

The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2029. The Long An Project Management Board has submitted an appraisal report proposing the investment policy, and at the same time sought local opinions on the location of the resettlement area and compensation costs.

Project DT.822B (phase 2) is 11.4km long, has 8 lanes, and a total investment of about 1,400 billion VND, to be implemented in the period 2025-2028. Currently, the investment proposal report is being consulted with departments and localities.

Notably, Duc Hoa Dynamic Axis with a length of about 23.5km, scale of 10 lanes, total investment in phase 1 is 9,361 billion VND (land clearance and resettlement costs 5,646 billion VND, construction investment costs 3,715 billion VND). The project is in the process of completing the route, determining resettlement locations and reviewing and adjusting the planning to serve as a basis for approving the investment policy.

In addition, the DT.827E project (remaining section) will invest in two parallel roads with a total length of about 19.5km, the total investment in phase 1 is 7,570 billion VND; of which the cost of site clearance and resettlement area is 4,919 billion VND (site clearance 3,140 billion VND; resettlement area 1,779 billion VND) and the construction investment cost is 2,651 billion VND. The project will be implemented in the period of 2026-2030, in 2025, investment preparation work will be carried out. The project is being studied to prepare a pre-feasibility study report under the public-private partnership method (BT Contract).

Road construction is under way

Along with that is the Tan An - Binh Hiep road project with a length of 63.5km, a scale of 8-10 lanes (in which, phase 1 invested 6 lanes, phase 2 completed investment to reach a scale of 8-10 lanes). The total investment of phase 1 is more than 8,478 billion VND (land clearance and resettlement costs 1,659 billion VND; construction investment 6,819 billion VND. According to the plan, the project will be implemented in the period 2026-2030. Currently, the Project Management Board is coordinating with units to survey, complete the route and advise on adjusting related planning.

The above projects, when implemented and completed, will contribute to improving traffic infrastructure, increasing regional connectivity, and promoting socio -economic development of Tay Ninh and neighboring areas./.
