Gasoline prices dropped across the board from 3pm today

The petrol price in today's regulation period (November 14) was adjusted down. In which, the price of RON 95 petrol decreased to 20,600 VND/liter.

Based on the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, businesses simultaneously adjusted gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today.

Compared to the previous adjustment period, today, the price of E5 gasoline was adjusted down by 290 VND/liter, selling price is 19,450 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline also decreased by 250 VND/liter, selling price is 20,600 VND/liter.

Similarly, diesel price was adjusted down by 340 VND/liter, selling price is 18,570 VND/liter.

In today's operating session, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continued not to draw or spend from the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

Regarding the petroleum market, in the latest draft decree on petroleum trading, the Ministry of Industry and Trade decided not to abolish the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund.

In the report on the trade situation in September and the first 9 months of 2024, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that since implementing the 7-day reduction in gasoline prices according to Decree No. 80/2023/ND-CP, domestic gasoline prices have been consistent with the developments in world gasoline prices.

In addition, all types of petroleum business costs are updated promptly, motivating businesses to create petroleum sources to fully supply the domestic market's needs.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, because the impact of adjusting gasoline prices on the socio-economy is not large, in the first 9 months of the year, the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund was almost not needed to stabilize the price of this item.
