Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 International Powerboat Racing: Organizational work is carefully prepared

In order to bring an attractive tournament, create many beautiful impressions, attract a large number of people to participate, the organization of the Grand Prix of Binh Dinh 2024 International Professional Powerboat Race is being actively carried out by the province and related units. Up to this point, all preparations are almost complete. This is the first time the race has been held in Vietnam, including: ABP Aquabike Water Motorcycle Championship from March 22-24 and UIM F1H2O Formula 1 Powerboat World Championship from March 29-31. In particular, the Formula 1 Powerboat racing event is attracting great attention from the people as the powerboat used is a high-speed catamaran with excellent flexibility. The length of the boat is 6m, the width is 2m and the weight is 390kg. The engine used is a V6 with a capacity of more than 400 horsepower. The boat can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in less than 2 minutes and has a maximum speed of over 250km/h.

To ensure the safety of the organization and meet the enjoyment needs of the people and tourists, the Provincial People's Committee has made careful preparations very early with communication and promotion activities for the event such as: Reality TV show "Radiant Aquabike Passion", launching the F1H2O Binh Dinh - Vietnam Motorboat Racing Team, many meetings with relevant departments and branches to assign specific tasks to create synchronous coordination in the organization stage. In addition, the works serving the race are also being urgently implemented, up to now the items have entered the completion stage such as: Operator house, press center, equipment repair area, fixed pontoon area and floating pontoon to serve as starting point... Currently, the construction unit is focusing on human resources to complete to ensure the right schedule. After the ground infrastructure is completed, Binh Dinh F1 Joint Stock Company will install the main stage and grandstands (regular and VIP) with a capacity of about 6,000 spectators. The Grand Prix of Binh Dinh international motorboat and jet ski racing competition organized by the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province from March 22 to 31 will take place at Thi Nai lagoon, expected to attract over 40,000 domestic and foreign tourists. This is an opportunity to introduce the image and culture of Binh Dinh to domestic and international friends, and at the same time contribute to promoting the development of motorboat racing movements in Vietnam.
