Sports tournament to welcome the 1st Congress of Bat Trang Commune Party Committee

On the morning of August 16, the People's Committee of the commune, the Cultural - Information and Sports Center of Bat Trang commune organized a sports tournament to welcome the 1st Congress of Bat Trang commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030 and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The event attracted 200 athletes from 15 teams of sports clubs in Bat Trang commune to compete, including 5 men's volleyball teams, 6 women's volleyball teams and 4 tug-of-war teams. The teams competed in a knockout format, with the best teams competing for first, second and third prizes.

The tournament aims to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, practically achieving achievements to celebrate important political events of the country and locality.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements.

The tournament contributes to promoting the movement "All people practice following the example of great Uncle Ho"; maintaining and promoting the movement of practicing and competing in physical education and sports in the commune; creating an exciting atmosphere, encouraging cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to actively respond to the emulation movement to successfully carry out political tasks in the commune and unit after the two-level local government officially comes into operation.
