Monitoring the implementation of the national target program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025

On the morning of September 25, the monitoring delegation led by Danh Tha, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, had a monitoring and evaluation session on the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in 2025 in the communes of Hon Dat, Binh Giang, Son Kien and My Thuan.

At the monitoring session, representatives of the People's Committees of the communes reported on the implementation of projects, capital disbursement, difficulties, problems and proposals and recommendations.

Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province, Danh Tha, delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

On the same afternoon, the monitoring delegation worked with the People's Committees of Kien Luong, Vinh Dieu, Giang Thanh communes and Ha Tien and To Chau wards to listen to reports on the implementation results of the national target program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025 in the localities.

Comrade Danh Tha suggested that localities quickly enter data into the budget and treasury management information system (TABMIS).

Comrade Danh Tha praised the efforts and achievements of localities in implementing the program, and requested localities to strive to implement projects and disburse capital sources in the last 3 months of the year to ensure completion of the plan, to the right subjects, and in accordance with legal regulations.

For approved projects and sub-projects, localities need to promptly enter data into the Treasury and Budget Management Information System (TABMIS). When encountering difficulties or problems, localities need to proactively contact the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions for timely resolution.
