Vietnam - China Friendship Exchange 2025 in Hai Phong: Promoting people-to-people cooperation and business connection

The Hai Phong City Union of Friendship Organizations has just coordinated with the city's Vietnam - China Friendship Association to organize the Vietnam - China Friendship Exchange Program 2025.

According to the Hai Phong City Electronic Information Portal, speaking at the Vietnam - China Friendship Exchange Program 2025, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Minh Cuong said: the event took place in the context of the two countries' relationship developing well, becoming deeper and more substantial, towards building a Vietnam - China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

In Hai Phong, people-to-people exchange activities have been taking place vigorously in recent times, contributing to consolidating and strengthening the friendship between the people of the two countries. This friendship exchange program, focusing on people-to-people exchange and connecting businesses of the two countries, continues to affirm the vitality and potential for cooperation in the field of people-to-people exchange and economic cooperation between Hai Phong and Chinese businesses and partners. This is also an opportunity for the two sides to consolidate their traditional friendship, at the same time share and seek new cooperation opportunities and build a friendly, prosperous community, sharing benefits and development in Hai Phong city.

Currently, Hai Phong has 769 investment projects from China (including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau) with a total capital of more than 12.77 billion USD, accounting for over 25% of the city's total FDI capital, contributing significantly to the local socio-economic growth and industrial development.

Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong affirmed that Hai Phong always attaches importance to the cooperative relationship with Chinese localities and enterprises, considering this one of the important strategic partners in the integration and development process. The city encourages enterprises of the two countries to expand cooperation, especially in the fields of supporting industry, high technology, clean energy, digital economy, green economy and circular economy. He requested departments, branches, friendship organizations and the business community to promote the effective implementation of signed cooperation agreements, expand exchanges in the fields of education , culture, science - technology, investment and trade, towards forming an international supply chain right in Hai Phong.

Along with that, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hai Phong city has brought lasting vitality and meaning to the Vietnam - China friendship, creating a solid foundation for economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Vietnam - China Friendship Association of Hai Phong city awarded 11 outstanding enterprises with many contributions to production, business activities and Vietnam - China friendly cooperation and exchange.
